"Dr. Don" Kindrachuk
A
native Canadian, (eh?) Dr. Don Kindrachuk grew up in the small
town of Vernon located in beautiful British Columbia. Though he
loves his native home, he chose to attend dental school at the
University of Kentucky in 1991 where he obtained his dental
degree as well as his specialty certificate in pediatric
dentistry.
While in
Kentucky, Dr. Don met his wife, Amy, and shortly after
completing his specialty they moved to Denver, Colorado, where
Dr. Don practiced as an associate in a large pediatric dental
practice for three years.
When it came time to establish roots and start a family, Dr. Don
and Amy decided to return to the Eastern United States, a move
that put them closer to Amy's family. The couple moved to
Raleigh in 2000 where Dr. Don began working with Dr. Pfefferle.
In January of 2003, he became a full partner and officially
called Raleigh his home.
Dr. Don and his wife have two wonderful children. Will was born
in December of 2000 and Grace joined the family in August 2003.
Dr Don openly declares that "becoming a father has been the
greatest blessing of my life."
Aside from being a full-time dentist, devoted husband and loving
father, Dr. Don still finds time for bible study, hockey (of
course, being Canadian), and enjoys running, biking, and
golfing. Don and Amy are members of Grace Community Church.
Dr. Don's "southern accent" is still work in progress; however
he is proud to call North Carolina, and especially Raleigh, his
home.

"Dr. Kevin" Gilchrist
"Dr.
Kevin" Gilchrist is truly home again! Dr. Kevin became a
patient of Dr. John's when he was just five years old and
developed a true appreciation for the prize box over the
years. Dr. Kevin grew up in Raleigh, is a proud alumnus of
North Ridge Elementary, West Millbrook Middle, and Sanderson
High School. He attended college and dental school at the
University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
We were fortunate to have Dr. Kevin work in the practice one
summer while at UNC and we were particularly grateful for
his time and help in organizing, as well as participating in,
a dental mission trip to Mexico with other UNC dental
students during his senior year. Dr. Kevin graduated with
honors from UNC dental school in 2006, only to begin his
specialty training in pediatric dentistry for an additional
2 years. Like Dr. Don, Dr. Kevin completed his specialty
certificate in pediatric dentistry at the University of Kentucky.
Although he enjoyed his time in Kentucky, Dr. Kevin is
excited to be "coming home" to Raleigh and to the practice
he grew up in! In addition to caring for children, Dr. Kevin
enjoys spending time with his family, soccer, and golf.
Dr. Don,
and our staff, are excited about Dr. Kevin's arrival. Please
help us to welcome Dr. Kevin to the practice!
